VACUUM EXCAVATION
Today, there are more than 14 million miles of buried utilities and pipe in the United States alone. With such high numbers of utilities buried underneath the earth’s surface it might seem impossible to carry out underground excavation without causing damages. Fortunately, Ellingson Companies is able to perform underground installations by locating and exposing buried utilities safely and effectively through a technology called “vacuum excavation.”
Ellingson Companies has various models of vacuum excavators that can handle any project our customers may have, no matter the size. Vacuum excavators use highly pressurized water to break up soil, which is then vacuumed up into a tank for later disposal or backfilled into the project location. This method is cost and time effective, it allows for very precise excavations without the risk of damaging utility lines, pipes or tree roots which prevents costly repairs. Vacuum excavation is a quick, safe, non-destructive and economical way to resolve any excavation need our customers may have.
